Our Story
How Salt & Light Started and Continues to Grow
Salt & Light Cleaning Co. was born out of a simple desire: to serve others with excellence and integrity, while creating spaces that reflect peace, order, and care. Our founder, Nick Willis, spent over 15 years in the manufacturing and quality assurance world, where he developed a sharp eye for detail, high standards for cleanliness, and a passion for systems that work.
But beyond the technical know-how, Nick had a deeper calling — to build something that aligned with his faith and values. Inspired by Matthew 5:13–16, Salt & Light Cleaning Co. was founded to be more than just a cleaning service. It’s a mission: to be a light in the workplace, to uplift clients and employees alike, and to approach every job with honesty, respect, and care.
Starting from a home office in Priceville, Alabama, the company was launched with zero outside funding — just hard work, prayer, and a vision to grow something meaningful. From the very first office cleaned to the long-term contracts we now manage, we’ve stayed committed to our core principles.
